The annual Symposium provides a venue for diverse scholars to network, strengthen skills, and affirm their commitment to research that affects the communities we serve. Over the years, New Connections has brought together some of the nation’s top leaders and practitioners from fields such as health services research, philanthropy, epidemiology, public health, medicine, psychology, social work, health economics, and public policy to share their research expertise and offer advice. In addition, attendees formally and informally connect with mentors and fellow scholars at receptions, a “speed mentoring” event, at the Award Recognition dinner, and during other networking opportunities. The Symposium is held in June, in Princeton, NJ. To learn more about the 2015 Annual Symposium, click here.
