New Connections at APHA!

New Connections program staff and scholars will have presentations at the American Public Health Association’s Annual Meeting this year in Chicago.

Lisa Aponte Soto, PhD, will speak at an APHA Latino Caucus Pre-Conference Session titled “Impact of Latino Political Power on Public Health”  on Saturday, October 31st from 3pm – 4:30 pm at the Rudy Lozano Public Library

New Connections funded scholar Joseph Richardson, PhD, will present the session “”Assessing the role, function and challenges of ACA Navigator in enrolling violently injured young Black men into health insurance coverage” on Monday November 2nd from 2:30pm-3:30pm.
